It was the worst storm in two decades. |  Augusto Pinochet was ArrestedOn October 10th, General Augusto Pinochet was accused of for Human Rights violations committed in Chile, where Pinochet was from. He was in London for a health treatment when was arrested. Then he returned freely to Chile and was charge of multiple crimes. |

 Iraq Agreed on InspectionsPresident of Iraq Saddam Hussein negotiated an agreement deal on February 20th with U.N Secretary General Kofi Annan. After the meeting President Hassan Hussein, Kofi Annan and Deputy Prime Minister Tariq Aziz agreed on an inspection by UN teams to search any evidence of nuclear, chemical, or biological weapons. |  Pakistan's Nuclear Weapons ProgramOn April 6th Pakistan conducted the first test of the Ghauri, the Pakistan's Nuclear Weapon, the media reports credited the missile with a 1100 km test flight. This program made Pakistan the 7th nation reported to have nuclear weapons. |
 On September 4th, Larry Page and Sergey Brin incorporated Google as a privately company. Google is a technological company that is specialized in in internet-related products and services such as search, software, online advertising, among others. --------------------------------- Google is an important part of this project, so include a little bit of its history was really important for me. |  Manuel Mejia VallejoManuel Mejia Vallejo was a Colombian journalist and writer. Some of his work included "It Was Us", "The Marked Day", and "The House of the Two Palms" that made him won the Romulo Gallegos a Venezuelan award. He died on July 23th in a place in Colombia called El Retiro in Antioquia. --------------------------------- In the list of events I wanted to include something about my country, Colombia. I feel very proud of what I am from. |
